The company's vast commercial, administrative and industrial operations are managed from its headquaerters, at the same site where its factory complex is located. This modern and automated complex consists of three industrial plants that stand out for their accurate equipment and cutting edge technology:
Vegetable Oil Industry: With a processing capacity of 2,000 tons of grains/day, the oil processing plant is produces soybean meal, soybean lecithin and soybean oil.
*Erechim: The facility is among the country's 10 largest biodiesel plants and cnosidered one of the most modern facilities of its type. It was the first plant in Brazil to use the enzyme neutralization process. Fully automated, in addition to biodiesel, it also extracts fatty acid and crude glycerin during its production processes.
*Porto Real: Located in the state of Rio de Janeiro , this modern , automated industrial plant has capacity to produce 450,000 liters / day of biodiesel from the transesterification and esterification processes. Using the recovered vegetable oil ( RVO ), animal fat and soybean oil as raw materials, and produces glycerin fatty acid during its preparation process.
Glycerin Refinery: Olfar's newest factory complex is capable of refining 150 tons of crude glycerin/day. Its fully automated production process with cutting edge technology enables greater flexibility in working with different raw materials and complies with international quality and production standards, providing the market with a unique product: Olfar's refined glycerin has a minimum purity level of 99.7%.
