* International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC) through the Biomass Biofuels Sustainability Voluntary Scheme (2BSvs) - Purschase of renewable energy, reducing C02 emissions.
* Reforestation: Committed to promoting resepct for the environment and preserving natural resources, Olfar has two reforestation areas, totaling 355.90 hectares. A percentage of this area is considered a natural reserve.
* ETE - Wastewater Treatment Plant: The result of an innovative project, Olfar treats its wastewater using membrane filtering systems.
Using this pioneering technology, all the effluents generated by the company are returned to its processes as quality water for reuse via a closed system.
The company also has a modern outlook on industrial effluents based not only on innovative treatment technologies, but on constantly striving to minimize the waste generated by using clean technologies.
Its responsible conduct has made Olfar the second Brazilian company to receive Zero Effluent title.
